Will it fit through your door and lift?
A standard Indian main door is 1000 mm wide and a bedroom door 900 mm, but the frame takes roughly 35 mm, so plan on 965 mm and 865 mm of clear opening. A typical residential lift car is about 1100 × 1400 mm with an 800 mm door. The delivery carton — not the assembled machine — is what has to pass through all of them.

Measure the diagonal, not the width
Movers tilt things. A box 1400 mm long and 700 mm tall has a diagonal of about 1565 mm, but its limiting dimension through a doorway is the smaller pair — width and height — because the length can go through first. That is why our doorway check compares the two smallest dimensions against the clear opening.
The three things people get wrong
- Using the assembled size. The carton is bigger, often by 5–10 cm on every side. Ask the seller for shipping dimensions before you order.
- Forgetting the turn. A straight run through a door is easy; the landing outside a lift, or a stairwell half-turn, is what actually stops delivery.
- Assuming the lift. Many Indian buildings have a lift too small for a boxed treadmill, and service lifts are not universal. If it will not fit, it goes up the stairs — and many delivery contracts stop at the ground floor.
Before you order
Measure your narrowest point, then check it against the machine on the fit checker. If the margin is under 5 cm, treat it as tight and plan for the stairs.
